Receiving/Accepting delivery of your Balloon Gas Cylinder

ALWAYS ENSURE YOU GET A RECEIPT FOR BOTH GAS CYLINDERS AND FILLING KIT WHEN RETURNING. WITHOUT THIS WE CANNOT REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT
  1. Check delivery/collection note matches the type and quantity of Helium Gas Cylinders you require before accepting or signing for the product(s).
  2. You should receive a balloon filling kit, which you will need to connect to the cylinder in order to fill balloons. The type of filling kit you receive will depend upon the type of balloons you are filling.

FOR BOC HELIUM GAS CYLINDERS:
Do not accept delivery or receipt of a Gas Cylinder if

  1. The Gas Cylinder contents are not clear identified on the cylinder
  2. The cylinder valve is not sealed with clear shrink wrap

FOR AIR PRODUCTS HELIUM GAS CYLINDERS:
Do not accept delivery or receipt of a Gas Cylinder if

  1. The cylinder contents are not clear identified on the cylinder
  2. The cylinder gauge is not showing FULL

Testing your Helium Gas Cylinder
Helium UK recommend that you test your Gas Cylinder and Filling Kit at the first opportunity and certainly prior to the event.

It is not possible to guarantee the number of balloons you will inflate with the Helium Gas Cylinder - as it all depends on the person filling the balloons. The figures given are those that can be achieved by correct balloon inflation, and these figures are given by the manufacturer.
